Of all the players in the finals who would be at the center of a new marketing campaign for basketball shoes, I'm guessing Rajon Rondo wouldn't have been near the top of your list.
Reebok Exclusive has put together a series of ads just in time for the NBA Finals and I must say they are special.
Even more surprising than Rondo getting his own commercial, the second-year point guard from Kentucky now has his own verb.

1. to smoothly move between large objects with dexterity and purpose.
2. to remove an object quickly without being detected.
3. to create a distraction followed by a swift change in direction.
The first spot features Jo Jo White Rondo'ing a few guys in a parking lot. There's also one with Vincent Wilfork Rondo'ing himself some pizza. I get the impression he does that a lot.
Homework assignment for all of you today - work a Rondo into your daily repertoire.
