Remember Ron Artest at the super-brawl between the Pistons, Pacers and several fans? Remember Ron Artest, one of the most prolific head cases in the NBA? It seems as though Ron-Ron is well on the way to reform, as he actually stepped in to STOP a fight between Yao Ming and Josh Howard.

Impressive, good sir. He even shook off a bump from Jason Kidd. Ron Artest of a few years ago would have flown off the handle. Nicely done, Houston.

He even got a technical, and calmly reasoned it out with the referee. What is this world coming to?

1	Kudos to Artest! Artest needs to keep that up. Houston can't afford to do lose him. If Artest gets in a fight and gets suspended, the Rockets will be right back to where they were last year.

0	(Edited by Pat) Maybe it's just me, however it seems that the Rockets and especially Yao have already beat their total number of pushing matches all of last year in just the first week plus preseason of this year. Yao must be tired of all those little ants under 6'5 crawling all over him.

funny how we ask fans want out player's to act like they have some sense, but when they actually do, they get rag on about doing what they should have been doing long time ago,
don't know body know what went though that young man mind during the break-
I really thought that as we get older that we surpose to grown in mind as well as body?
if thats one way of changing his image around, just give it to him and let it go- or maybe he thought okay, i been in this situation many of times and i know it really don't represent my team that i play for in a good light.
instead of downing the man- hey at least give him some credit.
