The Minnesota Vikings have spent the last two years as a team that was a Super Bowl contender on both sides of the ball with the exception of one position: quarterback. The Tarvaris Jackson experiment didn't work out real well, seeing as he couldn't seem to avoid throwing killer picks. Gus Frerotte went 8-3 in place of Jackson last season, but got injured before the playoffs. Needless to say, Jackson's second chance didn't go so well. So since Jackson has now proven to be a bust, and Frerotte is steadily approaching 75, the Vikings have decided that they need to do something big. They need to trade for a big time QB. A gunslinger, a man who can lead their Super Bowl caliber team to the big game. And that man would be.....

Yes, the Vikings are in talks right now with the Texans to get their hands on Sage Rosenfels. And, believe it or not, this is the second consecutive year in which the Vikings have been interested in acquiring Rosenfels. Last year the Vikings reportedly offered a third-round draft choice for Rosenfels, but the Texans wanted a second-round pick. So what's Rosenfels going for this time? Reportedly a fourth-round draft pick. Which naturally begs the question, why the hell do the Vikings still want him?
Rosenfels went 2-4 during the 2008 season filling in for starter Matt Schaub. He threw 6 TDs to 10 INTs and had a QB rating of 79.5. He also did this:
