Once again, the Cubbies have assumed their role as the lovable losers. While some fans are frustrated and depressed, one fan is taking initiative, and trying a new strategy to help break the Cubs' century-long futility streak.Sarah Spain is basically Chicago's Jenn Sterger, except a little more talented, and she's actually pretty funny. She has a history of doing pretty much anything sports-related for attention (or free stuff), including auctioning herself off as a date for free Super Bowl tickets. She has reported on spring training for the Cubs, has appeared in several newspapers, and has even starred in some... ummm... quality movies. She posts some entertaining videos here, and here is the most recent one for your viewing enjoyment, in which she sings about her plan to reverse the Cubs' century long curse of ineptitude:
There's really no telling whether or not her plan will work, but I'm sure Bartman has no complaints. This is probably the only opportunity he has had to get any since... well... 2003.
If you want to see more of Sarah, check out her myspace page. Or her website, where you can visit her website for pics, videos, her resume, and even an option to contact her.As a fun departure note, you can also check out this great video of a guy taking a kick in the balls for White Sox tickets. This is an excellent idea, and I think I'm going to go into the Bronx with a similar offer for Yankees tickets. This chick is priceless.
