Some of you may have been watching the Flyers/Lightning game last night and noticed that Scott Hartnell got, uh, creative with less than 30 seconds to play in a 3-3 hockey game in an attempt to deter Ryan Malone from a breakaway attempt. And by creative, I mean Hartnell threw his glove at Malone. Excellent choice, sir.
Now, I know what most of you are thinking. This was stupid beyond belief, seeing as it led to a penalty shot for Malone. Ah, but I say you're wrong, my friends. Malone wound up missing the penalty shot and the Flyers wound up winning in overtime.
So who's the fool now? Hartnell or you? It's obviously you, anti-glove thrower. If anything, this proves we need more glove throwing in the NHL.
