Sergio Rodriguez To Rudy Fernandez Alley-Oop For The Blazers Against The Heat

Rudy Fernandez And Sergio Rodriguez Are Like Peanut Butter And Jelly, Only Smoother

In case you haven't noticed, the Portland Trail Blazers are one of the more exciting teams in the NBA. Some of the best of their young talent has been the guys they brought over from Spain. Rudy Fernandez and Sergio Rodriguez have chemistry, almost as if they've played before. Most likely, that's because they did, on the Spanish team for the past few years.

This sort of thing is old hat for Rodriguez and Fernandez, as you can see here, from their Olympic matchup vs Germany.

That's not even all of them, either. They do this all the time.

Ya, I heard that it was because a lack of playing time.  But since he and Fernadez play together so well, he's getting a good amount of PT even though Steve Blake has been on a hot streak.

Gotta love this team.  They are loaded.  Not only that, they're all pretty likeable guys.  Except for Pryzbilla, that guys a douche.

He is a douche, but he's also playing really well right now splitting time with Oden.  Right around 10/10 a game and he's playing good defensivly.

There's talk of Portland trading Rodriguez, I hope they keep him as part of the core of the team.  The flow of the game is a lot faster when he's at the point, which works really well the depth that the Blazers have.  His only problem is that he couldn't guard a bucket of rocks.

The only thing that would make you wrong is the continued growth of LaMarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden.  The little bit that greg has played this tear has shown me that he not only fits in with this group, but as long as he stays healthy, he will truly be a force in this league for at least the next decade.

Blazer fans here are happy and loving it again.  I still think they need to make a trade or 2 but hey maybe I'm wrong.
