Arguably the biggest game of the NBA season to date takes place tonight in Phoenix where Shaquille O'Neal will be making his debut with the Suns. Fittingly, it comes against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The build up for this game will likely result in a perceived 'disappointing' game for O'Neal. It seems everyone is either hoping for a splash of dunks and domination, or three sprints up the court and calling it a night.

Shaq's in a great position with his new role. Mike D'Antoni isn't demanding that Shaq shoot, pass or slam ... just play defense and rebound. If O'Neal can play 20 minutes a game, grab 10+ boards and eliminate the easy buckets under the hoop the Suns will have themselves a #1 seed in the West a very good shot at the NBA title.
