Son of Former NFL back James Wilder Makes Amazing Run in Florida State Championship

James Wilder Jr. of Tampa (FL) Plant High School bowls over three defenders at once en route to a 61-yard touchdown run. Please remember that this defense (Manatee High School) is one of the best in the state, and knocked off St. Thomas Aquinas the week before. I have never seen anything like this before. Great effort James!

Plant boasts not only James Wilder, Jr. but Eric Dungy as well. Wilder is a junior that has already received scholarship offers from over 50 FBS schools. Dungy is a senior that still hasn't committed to a school. He is very slight just like his father: 6'1 and only about 175 lbs. He plays DB and WR, unlike his father who led the Minnesota Gophers at QB during the mid-70's.
