At least we didn't have the TV feed go down today during the Spain v. Russia match. Only problem was that this would have been the better match to have had that problem happen.
Even though Russia held Spain scoreless for the first half, Spain just kept getting opportunity after opportunity and eventually started cashing in. Truth be told, if Fernando Torres had made some of his not too difficult shots, Spain could have won 5 or 6 to nil. It was one of the more dominating Euro semifinal performances I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of Euro semifinals.*
At this point, I think you have to give the edge in the final to Spain over Germany, even though Spain likely lost David Villa for Sunday's championship with an injury today. With the exception of Spain's hard fought victory over Italy, no one's even been able to slow them down. And I don't think that's going to change.
