During Saturday's game in Moscow between Spartak and Lokomotiv (video courtesy of The Spoiler), a shirtless fan decided to join the action on the field. Spartak defender Radoslav Kováč, wanting to get rid of the idiot, decided to take him out the only way he knew how, by tripping him from behind.
And guess what he got for his troubles? An instant yellow card.
So apparently in Europe you have to let jackass fans roam free on the field. Although I guess it made some sense to book Kováč. If you're going to take out a fan running across the field, don't do it with a the cheap shot from behind. Instead, just absolutely level the fool. Bonus points if he's a Red Sox fan.
