It’s not unheard of for a hockey player to get his teeth knocked out, but it still hurts to watch it happen.
Teemu Selanne and the Anaheim Ducks were playing the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday night, and despite the Ducks win, the veteran left on a low note. In the beginning of the third period, Selanne was hit in the mouth by Luke Schenn’s stick, which resulted in the loss of teeth. The Ducks tweeted:
The moment isn’t too bloody, but it still hurts to watch all the same:
