The Best Coors Light Ads, Real and Fake
1/24/08

Since I'm still having trouble dealing with the fact that there's no football on Sunday, and I know you are too, I figured I might as well show some of the great Coors Light commercials - both real and fake.

This early Mike Ditka Coors Light ad is pretty underrated. Gotta love the 70s party outfits.

Jim Mora's epic tirade, used on the Coors Light guys.

In my opinion, this is the greatest Coors Light ad ever, and it wasn't even made by Coors. "I'M A MAN! I'M 40!"

The look Parcells gives in this ad when questioned about the coldness of the beer always kills me.

Personally, I think this Dennis Green ad is overrated, but just the fact that they actually used the "crown their asses" video was pretty good. They have used the "crown their asses" to make fun of Bud.

And last but not least, we have TO. This ad popped up about 30 seconds after his crying press conference.

Anyone seen the Denny Green one where he just laughs the whole time?  I don't know why, but I like that one.

I don't think Coors has any sponsorship deals as big as the one it has with the NFL, but isn't the natural progression for them to start making these commercials for other sports coaches or for player interviews...I think the top of my list for other sports' coaches would include: John Chaney, Bobby Knight, Coach K, Phil Jackson, Don Nelson, Avery Johnson.  For players, you could probably do a marathon of boxer interviews that would be great, ideally starring Tyson in most of them.
