I know you're all excited for the NCAA Tournament. I am too. But one thing I'm not excited about is Billy Packer. Each year I hate this guy more and more. He's a crotchety old hack who loves hyping the ACC and is an absolute word that I can't print here. Considering he's been doing the most important games of the tournament for what seems like 100 years, I think it's time they replaced him with just about anyone. Like a standing corpse. Hell, I'll even take Emmitt Smith at this point over Packer.

But to get you prepared for a month of Packer, we're going to dig out a clip or quote each day of this week to remind you why we need to get rid of Packer. First up, the famous "Fag out" comment.

Packer was not that good as a player, he is an even worse announcer, if he believes in reincarnation he's in trouble.

I just looked back on this tape and much to my dismay I have stand up for Billy. The word "fag" in the 50s and 60s referred to tiring out. At that time it was not being used as synonym for "gay". One would say I am fagged (tired) out. Boy, standing up for "the mouth" hurts.
