The Post-Olympic Advertising Blitz Has Begun. America, Meet Shawn Johnson and the Hamm Brothers

I Recognize Shawn Johnson, But I Don't Remember Seeing The Two Ugly Chicks At the Olympics...
by Pat
8/30/08

American gymnast Shawn Johnson is already starting to cash in on her 4 Olympic medals (1 gold, 3 silver), starring in stellar advertisements like this one:

Unfortunately, the commercial also stars the Hamm brothers, Paul and Morgan. Neither Hamm made it to the Beijing Olympics, as both were forced to skip the games due to injury.

It's good to see Johnson cashing in on her success, since her window is going to be small. No offense to her, but we'll all remember Michael Phelps. We'll be telling our children and grandchildren about how we saw the man who could swim faster than everyone else, no matter what the race was. But Shawn Johnson? Get it while you can, girl.

That was an outtake right? Because that commercial sucked.

They also could have used a slightly better term than "makes my taco pop."
