Yes, the NBA continued to play on this weekend. You may not have noticed, but here's a couple results worth remembering:
Hornets 113, Celtics 106 I'm not so sure this wasn't just the product of a Boston team that was a little worn down from the Texas 3-step, but either way another convincing win for the New Orleans. In one month I've gone from thinking they were a nice story to having a legit shot to win the Western Conference. Wells, Pargo and Julian Wright are scoring well off the bench.
Suns 122, Rockets 113 Hey, look at the that. Not only are the Suns winning (7th straight) they're scoring points, too. Not only did Shaq scores 23 with 13 boards, his presence is finally paying off for Amare Stoudemire. 38 points on 20-20 free throw shooting. Phoenix is now 1/2 game out of first place in the West. Only a matter of time before that's in their possession.
Dirk Nowitzki out 2 weeks As it stands this morning, the Mavs are spots games out of 9th place in the West. The margin for error is so small, that this could be the break the Nuggets needed to sneak in. Assuming, of course, they're able to shed multiple personality disorder.
