I'm still not confident in Tyler Hansbrough at the next level, but he proved he's more than worthy all college basketball player of the year awards.
Hansbrough was relentless, throwing down that emphatic put back dunk early in the second half and then closed the deal with two lengthy jumpers over David Padgett. 28 points and 13 rebounds in total.
In a fairly well played game with both teams shooting over 50%, Louisville will have to accept 19 turnovers as their down fall. Uncharacteristic of the Cardinals this year, UNC's relentless tempo rushed a few errant passes.
Despite how impressive the Tar Heels have been, lets see how they play outside of their backyard.
Considering North Carolina plays better away from home, not like they played in Chapel Hill, I do not think it will matter where the game is played. It's the Final Four. I am pretty sure that venue doesn't play too big of a factor.
I still do not understand how people can say that Tyler is near his potential because of his age. He continues to improve in all aspects of his game every season while adding a little more. He may not be an all-star on the next level, but I guarantee that he will have a longer career than half the people chosen above him.
I'm not saying Tyler is not talented. I just don't believe he's as talented as some other guys. However, he's a work horse. I don't believe he'll be great in the NBA, however.
