It's been too long since our last post about the lovely USC Song Girls. Thankfully, USC safety Taylor Mays came to the rescue, and gave us another excuse to talk about them... including a stellar video that Mays made with teammate Damian Williams.
A lot of people had Mays listed as a potential top 10 pick in the NFL Draft, if he had chosen to declare himself eligible in 2009. Mays decided to stay at USC for another year, to the dismay of the other Pac-10 schools, as well as NFL teams at the top of the last draft who might have needed an elite hard-hitting safety.
After seeing this video, Taylor's reasons for waiting another year for his multi-million dollar contract become rather obvious. Then again, we should have known this a while ago, really. Why would anyone want to leave, when you could hang out with these lovely ladies for another season? USC is basically a pro team anyway, right?
