David Beckahm, 78% of course, played excellent in his first major action with the LA Galaxy.

Appropriately enough, Beckham's first US goal was a result of this sweet bender off of a free kick. Truly a brilliant strike. Later in the match, David Beckham added an assist to Landon Donovan off a counterattack to push the LA Galaxy into the SuperLiga final.

This is what we've been waiting for. Welcome, Mr. Beckham.

So I know absolutely nothing about soccer, but isn't Beckham supposed to be washed up at this point? Does this show just how bad the MLS is?  I saw him play last week on Thursday when he came in with about 20 minutes to go and his play stood out big time. It was like everyone else was playing in slow motion for him.

Half of your statements are correct......Yes the MLS does suck, but Becham is not washed up...yet.
