Video: JD Drew Grand Slam (no joke) Powers Red Sox to a Game 7 with Cleveland

Bases loaded bottom of the first with J.D. Drew up after Manny Ramirez and Mike Lowell fail to deliver, I doubt a single Red Sox fan predicted the outcome. Grand Slam. All of a sudden J.D. might end up one of the most unlikely heroes in Boston sports history.

On ESPN radio tonight Peter Gammons joked it was the first time all year that JD Drew, Julio Lugo and Eric Gagne were cheered on the same night. No joke, that's absolutely true.

Now we've got a Game 7, a much needed one for this MLB postseason don't you think? It's been a little lax in my opinion, but that could just be due to the sour taste after a Cubs 1-2-3 out. Fox TV execs are sure pleased.

I don't see how the Indians win a game with this much pressure at Fenway Park, do you?

Red Sox 12, Indians 2 (Boxscore)

I'm not sure how 5 RBI's in one game makes him more liked...hes still a douche.

I can see the Indians winning CF. Dice-K has **** the bed twice this postseason already and there is nothing to prove he won't do it again. But I hope Curt is right, when he said Dice-K looked poised to throw a gem. Lets Go Sox!

Unbelievable can not describe that grand slam. I thought that "0-2" would either strike-out or hit a weak ground ball to second. I did not bash this guy all year hoping he would turn it around but this post season his lack of production in meaningful situations open the flood gates. But he sparked that offense last night. I hope he continues this. Go SOX!!!
