I realize it must be devastating to have exciting hockey return to your home town and to watch your team lose a game seven in overtime. I'm not even an NHL fan and I was a little disappointed I wouldn't be watching Alexander Ovechkin again until next season.

Even worse, the loss came to Philly. I'm with you, classless hockey fan, on all of this.

However, I'm not with you on throwing a bottle at any opposing player's face. Maybe, just maybe, if his name ends in Ginobili, but even that's uncalled for. Witness above as Flyers forward Jeff Carter takes a beer bottle (presumably plastic) to the side of the face.

In other news: fan signed to a minor league contract with the Nationals. Nice aim, dude.
