Wes Welker Snow Angel Versus The Arizona Cardinals
Wes Welker Should Expect A Fine On Monday
READ MORE:

Apparently the Arizona Cardinals - who have already clinched the NFC West - decided to send their 4th string to play the Patriots in New England today. Seriously, this game was pretty much over before it even started. Arizona's players looked like they'd never seen snow before.

And since the 47-7 laugher got boring real fast, Wes Welker decided to entertain the fans on some level by making a snow angel after scoring a touchdown in the second quarter.

Naturally, because the No Fun League hates celebrations of any kind, I fully expect Welker to be fined $50,000 on Monday...and then promptly get beheaded.

However, it's my personal belief that the NFL should have fined the Cardinals for sucking so bad. I can't believe they're actually going to host a playoff game this year.

A fine for this would be absolutely ridiculous.

There were others that were worst and if he doesn't get a fine then the fix is in for The Patriots.

Stupidest. Statement. Ever.

It is clear after this call that the NFL needs to change its signal in these instances. Here is the current signal for unsportsmanlike conduct:

Have the referee flap his arms; the call would be much clearer and we would have no controversy.

He's right, that's a pretty absurd thing to think.  The NFL intentionally not fining him because they favor the Patriots? That makes no sense.

Besides, it's a fine.  Even he doesn't get it, it makes NO DIFFERENCE in the world of football.

A find for celebrating is rediculous

People can be editors and print whatever they think is right, FU-- THAT, I'm a Jets and Giants fan.
NOW BURN ME AT THE STAKE OR DRAG ME BEHIND A TRUCK.
YOU REALLY WANT TO HANG ME FROM A TREE, FIND ME FIRST!!!!!!!
I listen to all this sh-- that is written and as soon as someone says something that touches a nerve about their team STRAIGHT TO TO HELL WITH EVERYBODY THAT'S NOT A FAN OF THEIR TEAM.
WHAT MAKES THEM SO RIGHT AND THEIR TEAM SO GOT DAMN BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE'S TEAM?
WE ALL LOVE OUR TEAMS AND CAN SAY WHATEVER THE FU-- WE WANT ABOUT ANOTHER TEAM.
DO YOU EVER TALK TRASH ABOUT ANOTHER TEAM?
IF YOU SAY NO YOU ARE A LIAR AND I HOPE YOU ALL BURN IN HELL IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE.

uptown,  No one is burning you at the stake for being a NY fan. The comment was that it was a stretch to cry conspiracy if Welker isn't fined. It sounds like you are looking for a conspiracy. Is this the same conspiracy that blew out brady's knee in the 1st game of the season? Again,
there are no issues with you being a Giants and Jets fan (though some from NY might ask you to get off the fence and pick a side; I know my cousins would). The issue is your argument. I think most of us can agree that fining a player for celebrating (especially making a smow angel) is absurd no matter what uniform the player is wearing. To call out a fix is a stretch and this is what people are reacting to. Root on for your teams--that's what FanIQ is for--but don't charge conspiracy, especially among fellow community members.

Wow...someone is really in a bad mood.  You made a statement that lacked logic, and I responded with logic, and you respond by going totally ape---t.

And... I'm forced to do this...

And you said "Touches a nerve about my team" in response to my comment.  Um, I'm a Colts fan, why would I defend the Patriots?

Its not like they weren't guilty of one in the past. I may have been in a very bad mood, but read the "NBA A Ghetto Gutter.........." article  and it's comments. If some of these people can get away with this sh-- Well lets let the war of the words take play or it will be taken to the streets. If people are FREE to say what they want, then PEOPLE offended should be FREE say say what they want too also. It's NOT about "WHO IS OR MUST BE THE BIGGER PERSON, because once nothing is done it just keeps happening to a boiling point. And when it spills over it's "OH GOD, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS PERSON OR ANOTHER WORD THAT IS COMMONLY USED.

I will try to take it easy BUT, I WILL VOICE MY SAY JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE ON THIS SITE.
I WILL NOT BE UNDER ATTACK AND STAND THERE AND TAKE IT. Like I said before, "If you don't curb them, DON'T CURB ME"...........

Who's attacking you? Did I miss something? I said your statement was stupid, and I stand by that. Do you honestly think that someone should be fined for making a snow angel? Seriously? A $5,000+ (minimum) snow angel? For real? Think about what you're saying.

And then if he DOESN'T get fined, you think "the fix is in" for the Patriots? For starters, it would be a ridiculous fine. Second, how would "the fix" be in? It would have no affect on the game whatsoever.

I'm not attacking you at all. But please... think about what you say before you say it. To be quite honest, your statement really was ridiculous.

Really classy stud!  We need more people and more bright, intelligent comments like yours around here.

" AND I HOPE YOU ALL BURN IN HELL IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE."    Sounds like you and amazinggrace should get along just fine.

Personally, I think the Patriots should be fined for being so damn good without Tom Brady hahaha

I'm thinking both Matt Cassel and Chris Hanson would look good in pewter and red next season.

I say fine Wes Welker, but use the cash to buy some unfortunate kids Christmas Presents.

Look if there is going to be a fine, I would fine the Cardinals for their performance or lack there of and for being the first team since 1961 to be down 28-0 in the first half of back to back games. Look I understand  warm weather team not playing well in the snow, but that was hooooorrrrible.

SO WHAT, I said something "You didn't like" about your team. WHAT? "I'm not suppose to say anything just because its The Patriots?
Think about all the sh-- that is said BEYOND what I said.
Who's to say who is right and who is wrong? WHAT MAKES ONE PERSON AN AUTHORITY just because his team is trashed a little?
Are you being paid to protect The Patriots from slander and discontent? FANS OF OTHER TEAMS DO THAT.
I don't like when somebody say sh-- about my team but WHAT IT IS, IS WHAT IT IS.
YOU can bow down to The Patriots, BUT I won't. They're in The Jets Division and I JUST WON"T!!!

Your erratic CAPITALIZATION confuses the hell OUT OF me.

I have no PROBLEM with you SAYING things that I don't like ABOUT THE Patriots. I just think THAT you're wrong, and I EXPRESSED that opinion.

You LOST me about 22 HOURS ago. But WHATEVER.
