Last season's Virginia Tech-Boston College game was arguably one of the most embarrassing nights of the Frank Beamer era. His team spent most of the 4th quarter arguing with each other on the sidelines, and were dominated in every facet of the game except penalties and bad decisions on national television on a Thursday night. That doesn't happen under Beamer-Ball.

Here's a snippet of video from Herbie's rant during the 4th quarter. Boston College is a very good team this year, but make sure to factor this sour taste on the VT side when making your prediction.

0	I really could see Lane Stadium rocking tonight and Va Tech come out and playing lights out and winning with a score of a 17-6 or something similar to that. It will be a battle.

Only concern I have is Tyrod Taylor not playing ... but maybe Sean Glennon makes less mistakes in this big of a game.

0	I see no reason why BC shouldn't come out of here with a win. I see a lot of reasons why they MIGHT lose, but if they play like they can, I think they should pull this off. And if they do, they are very much in the NC picture. But one loss, and they won't be in the top 5 again all year.

0	I don't see BC being able to go into Lane Stadium on a Thursday night and pulling off a win, unless they start playing like they did in the first few games of the year again. I just heard the weather looks to be pretty bad too, so that'd be another advantage for VaTech. I wouldn't be surprised if BC won, but I'm not expecting it.

The way this season is going, I'm not surprised by anything anymore.
