well most people agree now that roger is not only one of the greatest.....he is " the greatest"....the only guys and girls who do not want to agree are fans of Rafael Nadal.
It is quite evident that ever since nadal defeated roger so easily at the french final in 2008 and then went on to beat roger to win his first
Wimbledon....his fans started hoping that nadal could be a greater player than roger. But...as it now seems likely..it was really really wishful thinking.
Consider this....
we all agree nadal has a natural advantage on clay courts. roger you can say has on grass courts. Agreed.
But do any of the nadal fans can truthfully answer that while roger has won 5 Wimbledon's in a row and 5 us open in a row, will nadal ever be able to do it? even though he is 23 only. It seems unlikely because for the next 3 years atlest he will have to contend with federer, who rejuvenated now....is all set to improve his head to head against nadal.
consider the consistency of federer.....20 grand slam semis in a row....who ever thinks that rafa will match that...it seems highly unlikely....it is almost a superhuman feat...no body before did it....nor is any body likely to do it in the future...
i think Rafa's career will be hampered by injuries...already his knee has started troubling him..it will be shame if Rafa is not able to play at his best in wimbledon. To his credit...Rafa seems on course to keep his winning record against federer till the end as he is far ahead at this moment. Roger although has a great chance of beating him again at wimbledon.
one last point...roger has lost his grand slam matches only to rafa and one to djokovic..both top players...unlike Rafa...
i am not a nadal hater...but it is time his fans accepted the truth....ROGER IS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME.....

it all depends whose side you are..Nadal is still young and other tennis players still have a lot of time to improve their game....beside the " ball is round "....we have our own way to be great..maybe not this time yet; but sooner...in it's own time
