"Terrorists do not have souls they have murderous wishes for the Free!"

About Me:
Hi. I am Chicago born guy living in SW Florida. I mostly follow all my teams back home. As a young'en I grew up in Little Italy Chicago or better known as the Near West Side. One of the most memorial things I can remember living at the NW Side was the birth of the Sears Tower back in the late 60's finishing in the early 70's. My brothers and I watched the growth from our porch ontop our third story old victorian home. Another memorial episode was when every a White Sox player would hit a homerun, we can see and hear the scoreboard go off from Old Cominsky Park. Despite the sports aspect living in this section of Chicago, it was also most conveinent to all downtown activities. Chicago " The City of Big Shoulders" has tons of history and great foods. I do miss the Old City but the winter time sucked. Being comfind in a house all winter long besides going to school, work , shopping or shoveling. Here in Sarasota, its all about sun and beaches and fishing and margaritas...

War Against Republicans or Terrorist?

May 15th, 2008 -

This struggle is waged with the technology of the 21st century, but at its core it is an ancient battle between good and evil. The killers claim the mantle of Islam, but they are not religious men. No one who prays to the God of Abraham could strap a suicide vest to an innocent child, or blow up guiltless guests at a Passover Seder, or fly planes into office buildings filled with unsuspecting workers. In truth, the men who carry out these savage acts serve no higher goal than their own desire for power. They accept no God before themselves. And they reserve a special hatred for the most ardent defenders of liberty, including Americans and Israelis.

And that is why the founding charter of Hamas calls for the "elimination" of Israel. And that is why the followers of Hezbollah chant "Death to Israel, Death to America!" That is why Osama bin Laden teaches that "the killing of Jews and Americans is one of the biggest duties." And that is why the President of Iran dreams of returning the Middle East to the Middle Ages and calls for Israel to be wiped off the map.

Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: "Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided." We have an obligation to call this what it is -- the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.

*Who disagrees with this theory-

- As of May 15 - Tom Dashel, Barack H. Obama, Harry Reid, Ted Kennedy, John F. Kerry and more defectors to come...

Do you even understand what the word appeasement means?  Appeasement means actually giving something up.  How is talking to a country's leader "appeasement"?  Maybe actual diplomacy as opposed to starting a war with a country that is no threat to the Untied States might be the way to go because what we have now sure isn't working. Quit spouting Republican talking points and maybe think about the issues for yourself.

Like with Hitler when France and the UK gave up Poland? So you would think its ok for Israel to be sacrficed for peace in the Middle East? BTW who said starting a war with anyone now. Last I checked before the US went into Iraq both houses of Congress approved of that. Say what you want now. Even Bill Clinton said the US should go into Iraq and dispose of Saddam. Hindsight is always 20/20. Plus going into Iraq was not just a Republican talking point. It was felt by both parties

I am just going to comment on facts brought up by article. It talks about the elimination of Israel . By the leader of Iran, his belief that Israel is evil. Similar to the reputable claims of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq . Iraq was and is evil and before the war they achieved much of this through our help. Money , weapons ,and I do not know what else. I believe the U.N. acts too slowly sometimes . but the leaders in the U.N. had a clear message about the use of force at the time it was taken. We had trumped up theories to flame rumors and with that and the MIGHTY CO-ALLITION took action. Geez Great Britian The U.S. and the Jamaican Bob Sled Team. We lead the assualt because for the simple reason that we can. I am SORRY for making lite of the CO -ALLITION forces as many of them have paid the ultimate price. As you stated in your article the leaders of Germany and Iran and the extremist are driven by power. I have to ask if that includes a man who sends people to war and will not declare war so that the house's can vote on that? I love what the U.S, should stand for Respect. We used to be a country that people looked to and in foreign diplomacy we are becoming a country they are looking and laughing at.Yes they still come for help when needed , but I don't feel that is out of Respect. My hatred is not towards a party ,but a man. A war that cannot be declared a war should never be.
