Week 12 Sunday Review

11/26/13 in NFL   |     |   1 respect

We only have one game left, than we only have four weeks until the playoffs. Crazy isn’t it?

Starting off in Detroit, who would have thought the Bucs would be on  a tree game win streak? And a win against Detroit isn’t a bad win. But for the Lions, that loss puts them in a tie for first place for the division. Detroit really needed to win that one.

In Minnesota we had a tie. Last week I said that Green Bay really needed to win to keep pace In the division, but a tie isn’t bad. Considering they are only half a game back in the division. I wouldn’t count them out of this division race.

A low scoring game between Jacksonville and Houston. Which showcased the Jaguars now being tied with the Texans at 2-9. Really terrible season for Houston. Even Andre Johnson said “we suck’ in a postgame interview.

A big game for the Chargers turned into a big win for the Chargers. Both teams traded scores the whole game, but a late touchdown passes from Phillip Rivers put the Chargers on top against the Chiefs.

Cam Newton had to come up clutch for his team again in Miami. Even though the Panthers defense pitched a shut out in the second half, Cam was having trouble moving the ball. But he came up in the clutch for his team, moving his team to a 8-3 mark.

It was a must win for both teams in Cleveland Sunday. With the un predictable Bengals I think the AFC North is still a open race. Pittsburg is only two games back. And a win against the Browns helped them.

Just when we thought the Bears were the real deal, the get blown out by the Rams. Tavon Austin is starting to make a name for himself. This helps the Colts, because now we know that the Rams are some what a good team.
Another must win situation for both teams. The Jets trying to keep pace with the Patriots. And the Ravens trying to keep pace with the Steelers and Bengals. And the Ravens won this game.

It was definitely a playoff atmosphere in Oakland on Sunday. The winner of this game took the 6th and final spot in the AFC playoff picture. And both teams played really good games, but the Titans won this game in exciting fashion.

You never know what Colts team you are going to get. They got blown out in Arizona Sunday 40-11. A disappointing game to watch as a Colts fan. The Colts need to buckle down if they want to be a contender. And this weeks game against the Titans should tell us a lot.

In Americas game of the week, the Cowboys took on the Giants. It came down to the end. And the Cowboys came through in the clutch. And now the Cowboys have a share of the division lead.

Sunday night showcased the Manning v Brady bowl. And in the first half it looked like a blowout game. But in exciting fashion, Tom Brady lead his team to a exciting comeback. This game really showed the true heart of the Patriots and Tom Brady.
