Rivalry Weekend is here and it kicked off with an almost upset last night but Texas survived. I went 4-1 last week to take my season record to 41-24, not bad.

Friday 2:30pm CBS - #2 Alabama at Auburn [93% of FanIQ is picking Alabama]

Auburn can keep it close but Alabama will pull this one out. Crimson Tide 24 Tigers 13

Friday 10:00pm ESPN2 - Nevada at #6 Boise St. [93% of FanIQ is picking Boise St.]

This is for the WAC title and will be the most entertaining game this weekend. Lots of points. Broncos 56 Wolf Pack 45

Saturday 11:30am Fox Sports Net - #12 Oklahoma St. at Oklahoma [67% of FanIQ is picking Oklahoma St.]

It pains me to see my team like this but they aren't fun to watch. Oklahoma is a 8 point favorite and have won the last five Bedlam home games by an average of 22 points per game. I am taking the Sooners to extend the nations longest home winning streak, but it'll be close. Sooners 31 Cowboys 21

Saturday 5:00pm The Mountain - #21 Utah at #19 BYU [57% of FanIQ is picking BYU]

The Holy War in Utah had higher stakes last year but that doesn't mean this won't be as intense. Cougars 28 Utes 24

Saturday 8:00pm ABC - Georgia at #7 Georgia Tech [84% of FanIQ is picking Georgia Tech]

Georgia Tech beat Georgia last year to propel itself to a great season this year. Georgia Tech is going to pound the ball on the ground to get their first win in Atlanta over Georgia since 1999. Yellow Jackets 42 Bulldogs 27

Now for the "Locks of the Week"

Illinois (+20.5) over Cincinnati
Nevada/Boise St. OVER 69
Nebraska/Colorado UNDER 40
TCU (-44.5) over New Mexico

Florida St. (+24.5) over Florida
Stanford (-10) over Notre Dame

So there are my quick picks for Week 13. Share yours below or tell me why I am crazy for picking who I did.

I'm gonna borrow this for a Live Thread..

Auburn up 7-0 early, and then an onside kick with Auburn recovering and driving down the throat again right now.

The real rivalry is over, UT beats TAMU.

I'm kinda surprised that 93% of FanIQ is picking Boise St. Yes, I love the Smurf Turf and just about everything about Chris Peterson's offense, but Nevada is the first team in FBS history to have three (3!) 1,000 yard rushers.

Kaepernick, Vai Taua, and Luke Lippincott are all first, second, and third in the entire nation on yards/rushing attempt.

Nevada lost their first 3 games of the year, but 8 wins in a row now, that kinda success in the run - even at the Smurf Turf, I like Nevada a lot making the upset. (Although, that does kinda ruin my hopes of another BCS Buster; give a little, take a little I guess.)

Nevada has been one of the teams to give Boise trouble over the last couple year.  If Colin Kaepernick has a good game and the Nevada defense can get some turnovers, Nevada could pull off the upset.

I so agree gobigblue...what a game if that was to happen...if only.

I would love to see the Seminoles beat the Gators, but it's not going to happen...but i can still hope.
