Week 13 NFL Predictions

Can The Titans Keep Their Streak Alive? Doubtful. [Week 13 NFL Predictions]

12/3/09 in NFL   |   Pat   |   5232 respect

My picks went 13-3 last week, beating the FanIQ consensus, which finished at 11-5. Let's see how this week's picks turn out:

Thursday Night Football

Jets at Bills

FanIQ Consensus: Jets 23, Bills 18
My pick: Jets 24, Bills 13
-Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if the Jets defense were the highest scoring unit in the game. Mark Sanchez probably won't knock anyone's socks off, but Darrelle Revis is always a threat for a pick six.

Sunday 1:00

Patriots at Dolphins
FanIQ Consensus: Patriots 30, Dolphins 20
My pick: Patriots 34, Dolphins 17
-The Dolphins always play the Patriots tough, but they're too banged up, and the Patriots usually play very well after getting beaten badly, like they did against the Saints last week.

Eagles at Falcons
FanIQ Consensus: Eagles 25, Falcons 20
My pick: Eagles 27, Falcons 13
-The Falcons could have some serious problems moving the ball with Chris Redman at the helm.

Buccaneers at Panthers
FanIQ Consensus: Panthers 23, Buccaneers 19
My pick: Panthers 17, Buccaneers 10
-This game should be pretty ugly. Both teams are bad, and the Panthers will be trotting out Matt Moore at QB. Then again, that might be a good thing, since he's not Jake Delhomme.

Rams at Bears
FanIQ Consensus: Bears 24, Rams 15
My pick: Bears 30, Rams 20
-Steven Jackson might be able to rip through a pretty mediocre Bears defense, but Jay Cutler should finally have a good day.

Lions at Bengals
FanIQ Consensus: Bengals 29, Lions 15
My pick: Bengals 34, Lions 17
-The Bengals shouldn't have much trouble at all with this one.

Titans at Colts
FanIQ Consensus: Colts 29, Titans 19
My pick: Colts 23, Titans 21
-Can Vince Young and the Titans keep their winning streak alive? Maybe, but the Colts are just a little too good.

Saints at Redskins
FanIQ Consensus: Saints 31, Redskins 16
My pick: Saints 40, Redskins 15
-The Saints are on a mission this year, and there's really no one out there who can stop them. At least not in the regular season. Especially not the Redskins.

Raiders at Steelers
FanIQ Consensus: Steelers 26, Raiders 14
My pick: Steelers 27, Raiders 20
-The Steelers have looked terrible lately, but the Raiders ARE terrible, period.

Texans at Jaguars
FanIQ Consensus: Texans 21.5, Jaguars 21.3
My pick: Texans 30, Jaguars 24
-Maurice Jones-Drew is one of the best RB's in the league, but unfortunately he's the only thing the Jaguars have going for them.

Broncos at Chiefs
FanIQ Consensus: Broncos 26, Chiefs 16
My pick: Broncos 20, Chiefs 9
-The Broncos need to make a push to keep themselves in the division, and the Chiefs shouldn't present much of a problem.

Sunday 4:00

Chargers at Browns
FanIQ Consensus: Chargers 29, Browns 13
My pick: Chargers 38, Browns 13
-The Browns barely even deserve to be in the NFL at all right now. And the Chargers will show that on Sunday.

Cowboys at Giants
FanIQ Consensus: Cowboys 24, Giants 20
My pick: Cowboys 23, Giants 17
-The Cowboys are the best team in the NFC East right now, and Eli Manning's foot is all sorts of jacked up. Not looking good for the Giants at all.

49ers at Seahawks
FanIQ Consensus: 49ers 23, Seahawks 18
My pick: 49ers 17, Seahawks 10
-Both offenses in this game are pretty bad. Don't watch it, if you like high scoring games.

Sunday Night Football

Vikings at Cardinals
FanIQ Consensus: Vikings 27, Cardinals 21
My pick: Vikings 30, Cardinals 23
-If Kurt Warner plays (and plays well), the Cardinals have a chance. The problem is, I just don't see their defense being able to stop the Vikings.

Monday Night Football

Ravens at Packers
FanIQ Consensus: Packers 24, Ravens 21
My pick: Ravens 23, Packers 20
-The Packers struggle against defenses who have the ability to pressure the QB. The Ravens are one of those teams. Things could get ugly for Aaron Rodgers.

True. Very true. But even if Kurt does play, I think the Viks are gonna lay the smack down. Heck it might be better if he doesn't play, Jared Allen can sack the shit out of Matt instead. Save it for the playoffs Kurt.

The Colts have to lose sometime because quite frankly, they shouldn't be 11-0.  They're good, just not that good.  I think the Titans can take them  if Chris Johnson keeps up his recent play.

I think we'll see a few more upsets this week than this.

I think two of these will be about to come up with the upset: Bills, Chiefs, Skins, Cards, Falcons.
