Jets all the way, at home and with a playoff berth on the line, the Bengals are already in but they may be able to improve their seed position with a victory but the Jets will be hungrier tonight...you should start collecting your 300.00 now Leslie...and congrats!!!!

Leslie, I would venture to say the Jets are the best choice since the Bengal's are already in the playoff, but that's just my opinion, who am I to know. LOL

Umm, 2.7 was still here. Meaning Larry Johnson and his ypc. They thought that money was still something to hold on to, but the "distractions" (i.e. gave up on your team) was enough to finally give someone another chance. People want to say that it was the fault of the O-line, and while it still isn't nearly one of the best in the AFC, Charles has shown in these 8 weeks he's gotten to start, that you can still have an amazing 6 ypc with a sub-par O-line as long as you're fighting for every last yard and actually give a s*** still.

I'm hopeful for this next season now with this kind of ending. Pendergast still needs to go, and Cable will need help with his offensive schemes, but another high 1st round pick up (either O-line or Safety) along with some other smaller pieces that are necessary, it'll be a great improvement from the end of last season.

No internet feeds for this game, you need a program for it, sorry Andi.

7-0 Chiefs and now at their own one with a little cocky move by Bruton who downed it at the one by not only stopping, grabbing the ball, looses his balance a little and gently tosses it out of bounds with it bouncing a few times when it could've easily gone into the endzone.

Nobody talked about it all year here, but I'll tell you who they needed just as much as Troy, the other defender I mentioned, Aaron Smith.  When he went out with an injury in 2007, they lost 4 of their last 5 games, including the playoff game to the Jags.

Why exactly? I'm not going to claim anything great about the Chiefs, but they have been hardly playing their worst football lately and Broncos without Marshall/McDaniels ass****ishness going to help?

Surely not. I thought it was clear that the cause of the helmet to helmet was White stubbing his right toe, losing his balance and falling forward. If White doesnt stumble, Im not even sure Taylor makes anything but a glancing blow to Whites hip or chest.

I have no idea why, but watching the last defensive drives by NE, this team is reminding me of Indy in 2006. Terrible run defense that seemingly can't stop anyone, nicked up in a few areas, and no one can really give them a legitimate chance going into the playoffs. Indy was very fortunate to get extremely hot by that Wildcard game (Then Chief, LJ stopped for something like 40-50 yards that game..) but it all just seems similar to me.

Gostkowski ties it 13-13 before half.

Matt Brown with not only a missed PAT and a missed FG to end the half, but they also went for it on 4th and Goal at the 2 when they were down 3 earlier...Who do you think feels worse between Mr. Brown or that ECU kicker?

Yeah, I had to laugh when the announcer said ECU was NOT going to allow him on the team plane for the flight home and was gonna make him buy a Greyhound bus ticket. Brutal comment..... but funny!

1/3/10   |   Chief_aka_James   |   3295 respect

Favre just did two pretty damn funny things even though I hate him. Once gets called for an illegal forward pass, so he picks up the flag and kind of waves it around in front of the refs face. Then on one of the next plays a neutral zone infraction is called and play is dead, but the ball was still snapped and Shaincoe and him are the only two still playing...so he throws it to Shaincoe standing by himself in the endzone and they celebrate a TD together even though everyone knows it's dead.

A real TD was made on the next play, to Sidney Rice - 24-0 Vikings.
