Another Sunday, and another batch of excellent NFL games. The big games this week include the Bengals and Ravens for AFC North supremacy, and then the Patriots and Broncos squaring off later, in what could be a very telling game for both teams. Another huge game, in my opinion is the Falcons visiting the 49ers. Both teams have high hopes for this season, but the Falcons would fall to 2-2 with a loss, and would be 2 full games behind the Saints in their division. To see which games you get in your area, check out the coverage maps, courtesy of The506.com. Here's the schedule:

1:00 pm

Cowboys at Chiefs
Vikings at Rams
Browns at Bills
Bengals at Ravens
Redskins at Panthers
Steelers at Lions
Raiders at Giants
Buccaneers at Eagles

4:00 pm

Patriots at Broncos
Falcons at 49ers
Jaguars at Seahawks
Texans at Cardinals

If you're watching the games, chat it up here all afternoon. Don't forget to make your predictions on our NFL Pick 'Em Page, and as always, enjoy the games!

James Harrison gets a sack on Detroit's first play from scrimmage.  Oh yeah, 3-and-out for the Steelers because of yet another dropped pass by Limas Sweed.

some good matchups this week, unfortunatly i get either the Giants and Oakland or Dallas and Kansas City to watch....how long are they going to wear the retro uniforms? they are fun for awhile but they get old real quick.....

You're right.  And I'm enjoying it.  However, I'm a douchebag Steelers fan.  And I'd rather be watching my team.

Dallas with 2 early turnovers....Kansas city leads 10-0 with little or no offense.....

Rams break out the old school mustard yellow and blue jerseys from the old LA Rams days.  Still there own worse enemy though as Steven Jackson fumbles inside the 1.  Rams have more offensive yards then the Vikings but trail 14-0

10/11/09
1
Rams get an interception from James Laurianitis but stall.....again.... inside the 10 and are forced to kick a field goal.  14-3 Vikings, halfway thru the 2nd quarter.  Rams are at least moving the ball at will against the Vikings until they get to the red zone

Dont forget the Cowboys also have 6 penalties as well.  Dare I say it, Pat may have been on to something with the Cowboys laying an egg against the Chiefs

10/11/09

Ed Hochuli is jumbling up calls already.  Mike Wallace kicked the ball after he dropped a perfect throw, delay of game penalty.  Being the genius he is, he originally called it on Detroit...FAIL!

Rams driving again on the Vikings... 1st and goal from the 10 as the 2 minute warning hits

10/11/09

TD Hines Ward!

The Vikings are playing like crap against the Rams but still up 17-3.  If the Vikings keep this up though the Rams may make it a game... nevermind another goal line turnover for the Rams offense.  This could easily be tied right now.

Sweet Baby Jesus.  This Ravens/Bengals game is a hot mess.

I am shocked that the Rams are moving the ball so easily against the Vikings.  Too bad they continue to be there own worse nightmare, 2 fumbles lost inside the Vikings 5 yard line and a Kyle Boller fumble returned for a touchdown by Jared Allen.  The Rams should actually be winning this game

At least I get the Falcons game this week. I laugh because neither the FOX for Lexington nor the FOX for New York is carrying a 1:00 game. I'm stuck with the Bengals-Ravens and Raiders-Giants game.

Damn, Culpepper just made an incredibly stupid play and Ryan Clark ended up with the world's easiest pick.

Marc Bulger replaces a banged up Kyle Boller and leads the Rams on a touchdown drive.  Too little, too late... 31-10 Vikings

KC and Dallas are  tied up at 13 in what looks like an early preseason game....Dallas had the Chiefs backed up with a third and 26, got an incomplete pass but got called for an unnecessary roughnes penalty giving the Chiefs a first down.....two bad teams in a sloppy  game......

Agreed...the Cowboys are struggling, BIG TIME, against one of the worst teams in the league! What is up with all the offsides calls? I love my Cowboys but they really need to figure out some answers. Wade Phillips better be getting real nervous if they lose this game!

Lions are driving against the Steelers.  They are however down by 8 so they need a TD and conversion.

This season really has me disoriented right now.  The Bengals, really.  I guess we shouldn't be that surprised considering how good they were a few years back when Palmer's unfortunate injury essentially handed the Steelers the SB... but I feel so confused.  On one hand it feels like they've been very lucky (and on that case unlucky to not be 5-0) - some part of me feels like they shouldn't have won against Baltimore, or the Steelers, or even the Browns, but the other part of me is like, that defense is pretty damn cool and Carson Palmer is finally Carson Palmer and I admire their tenacity... basically part of me is ready to call them legit and the other part is still and will always be skeptical.  It's hard to fathom that Lewis was on his way out and now they've suddenly become what they should have been these past few years.  Benson a stud?  Johnson subdued?  Doesn't help that I have to go to school down here... but at least I haven't heard "who dey" in a long time.  Maybe it's as simple as them finally growing up.

Broncs too... I still don't think either is SB-bound, but the Broncs really have done something spectacular given their situation, even if the best they've beaten so far happens to be the Cowbutts... speaking of which, I still can't quite grasp how miserable they are despite the amount of name-talent they possess.  As much as I dislike them I still can't help but expect them to just break out with a big game one week.  But they haven't.

Otherwise, everything else has been pretty much as expected, except perhaps for the Saints and Jets D.  Although the Titans and Panthers massive falls from grace were pretty shocking... I hadn't even factored them in the year before.  Oh and perhaps how easy the Colts have been - they look amazing.  Nonetheless I feel... ya know how you feel when things are changing around you and you realize but can't do anything or make sense of it?  Like that.

And congrats to the Browns and Panthers for advancing from the ranks of the winless!

I'm wondering if Zorn is going to survive as Wasington's coach through their bye week. That O-line is terrible; no QB could be effective with those guys up front. In other news, the Browns' smashing, dominant victory personifies Bill Simmons'  "Moral Defeat" concept.

Quick... everyone bow down to the greatness of Ben Roethlisberger, who put up some good numbers against the amazing defense of the Detroit Lions.

No, actually I was referring to Brady overthrowing receivers, throwing behind guys, throwing into traffic, etc. Much like an average Roethlisberger performance, I was left unimpressed. By the numbers, most people would say Brady wasn't bad. But anyone who watched the game would see that he's still not himself.

So would you care to explain to me how Roethlisberger is currently in the top 5 in passing yard per game this year?  Your hatred for Roethlisberger continues to cloud your observations, and I'm just going to leave it at that and move on.

He's having a good year. Don't get me wrong. If he continues this, then he might finally be as good as everyone has been pretending he has been for years. Up to this year, he had yet to live up to the hype. Perhaps this will be the year he finally proves his worth. We'll see.

You, of all people, should know that it's not the first time I've done so. The problem is that 90% of Steelers fans sh*t a brick whenever someone doesn't kiss his ass. I call it like I see it, every game. And Steelers homers don't handle criticism well at all, no matter how accurate it is.

Maybe, maybe not. Anyone who pays attention should know that I am just as critical of my own teams/players as I am of anyone else. This year, I have had nothing good to say about Tom Brady, outside of a 5-minute portion in week 1. Up until this year, I have generally been highly impressed with Brady's play, hence the lack of criticism. If anyone has anything negative to say about the first 6 years of his career, go ahead. But since he has returned from his injury, he hasn't been the same. And it's not even the injury, because he has showed the ability, just not the accuracy that he used to have, and it's unacceptable. It has cost them 2 games already.

But of course, whenever someone wants to discredit my opinion, the easiest way for the ignorant mind to do so is to try to paint me with the "homer" brush. The casual observer assumes it's true, but anyone whose opinion is worth a damn should know that it's a pathetic excuse for the complete lack of a legitimate argument.

Just saying.

I just don't like Pat because everytime he open his ********* mouth he always make sure to cheap shot the Steelers and their fans!

The Steelers have nothing to do with his team losing but as usual he always try stir **** up by including them in whatever the hells going on in the NFL!

No one is asking him to like the Steelers, and it seems no one has a problem with anyone else not liking the Steelers; only when Pat does it because his "track" record speaks for itself.

The common denominator in this is not the Steeler fans, its PAT

Did anyone else her the the announcer in the Vikings/Rams games misspeak in the Second corner. I cant remember who he was talking about but. At one point the said the Vikings Defencive back was thinking about just "Sh*t in the zone" but quickly corrected himself saying "Sit in the Zone" I had to rewind the DVR like 4 times so prove i heard him correctly. Not Really on topic just wonder if anyone else got to see that game and heard that.

I'm still shocked the Broncos keep winning and beating the Pats no less.  I guess the Patriots aren't the same as '07 with Tom back and may never be.  I'm also shocked the Falcons absolutely spanked the 9ers in SF, Singletary has them playing at a very high level, but perhaps over their heads.  I sure hope Gore comes back soon.  And what's with the Seachicken's putting up 40+ on the Jags, but giving up nothing?  I know Matt came back, but he doesn't play defense too?

Sunday did NOT suck for me, I'm loving 5-0 and thinking perhaps the Ravens and Steelers aren't as scary as I thought they might be at the beginning of the season.  I am scared about a pissed off Ray Lewis coming into town, that's never a good thing.
