About Me:
People have attempted to put me down by describing me as sports obsessed. I mistake that for a compliment. I work as a DakStats/ScorePad operator for the Aberdeen IronBirds and the Washington Nationals but still love my awful Orioles. My wife and I met at a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan Club in the enemy territory of Baltimore. I play more fantasy sports than is probably healthy. Maybe obsessed is putting it mildly.

What a Sunday!
by Puma170

Sports fans dream of days where everything is hand delivered to you on a silver platter and we can just sit back and enjoy all that is offered. This past Sunday was just that case for me. The Major League baseball teams that I root for (the Orioles) and the one that I follow in the other league and work for (the Nationals) were playing each other on beautiful MASN HD. This was rain delayed and didn't start until 3:00 instead of the scheduled 1:30. My Penguins were playing on NBC in HD trying to eliminate the Flyers. Finally, the Celtics face a do or die game #7 on ABC and, you guessed it, in HD. So, all these options. All these wonderful beautiful events to watch. How does one chose? I tried flipping for awhile but you don't get to really enjoy any one of these fully since you are trying to watch three instead. Here I was, the world handing everything to me and I was overwhelmed and unable to handle all that I thought I wanted. What does one do? I did what I thought was best. I got in the car and limited my options to the radio and listened to the O's/Nats. When handed everything I decided to interact with sports like my great grandfather did. I got home in time to see the end of the Celtics game when everything else was done. Then it was done. Nothing to watch. I was almost relieved.
