Battle of the Egos

This back and forth between this two “personalities” needs to end. Olbermann has been doing poor Francesa impersonations that sound more “Yo Adrian” esque. While Francesa could give two diet cokes about Keith and his opinion on him. It's childish, it's unnecessary and flat out egotistical.

I am not a fan of Francesa's sports talk, there are many others on his network or otherwise I would rather listen to. On the other hand, from the limited amount of clips of seen of Keith Olbermann, I really just want to punch him in the face, there's just something about his smug face. For the sake of the art that is sports talk radio, the two need to forget that the other exists and continue focusing on his job. No one really cares about these two guys, this isn't Maris and Mantle, nor is it Ali vs Frazier. This is just two guys with heads as the size of A-Rod's contract. It's not entertaining just stop.

Now onto what the Yankees should do this offseason.

  1. Do not over pay for Robinson Cano, offer him a respectable amount of money, after that let the greedy man walk. Ten year deals decimate teams and the Yankees definitely do not need Cano to become a better ball club

  2. Do get pitching, especially starting pitching. With CC fading the Yankees relied on Hiroki Kuroda(re-sign him) after that they need to make a lot of moves. Ervin Santana, Matt Garza, and Ubaldo Jimenez are some guys that are available. Go get 'em!

  3. Do find insurance for Derek Jeter. Granted he should be 100% come April but he's 40 in June and the Yanks didn't particularly produce from shortstop with Jeter on the DL. Maybe a Jhonny Peralta is too expensive just to be insurance, but they need a capable bat and glove to patrol the infield if Jeter misses time.

  4. Do not sign old players. Especially to deals that will cripple the team once their play deteriorates. Find young blood NOW.

  5. Do sign Carlos Beltran. Yes contradictory to my last point but he produces in the playoffs which is a must in New York. He is the exception, other than buckles(his backyard baseball nickname) Yanks need to get younger if they want to have another dynasty.
