I have been keeping up with all of the verbal commitments for the Tide over the course of the past year, and now is our chance to see who we bring in. We have a loaded class coming in, but all eyes will be on Julio Jones. The #1 WR recruit out of Foley, Alabama said he wasn't giving a verbal to anyone. He said he will make his mind up and announce his decision on signing day. Well Julio, it's here.

I am going to do my best to keep up with who Alabama signs throughout the day and post it in here. Between work and dodging tornado's, I will do the best I can to keep it updated.

There are a few places to keep up with today's coverage of signing day, but I will mainly be following Scout.com.

You can keep up with all of the signings here if you would like. In the column under LOI (Letter of Intent), they will place a gold check mark in the column next to the recruit's name once he has officially signed with the school.

This is a big day for Bama fans. We haven't seen an incoming class like this in a looooong time. ESPN has Bama as one of the schools to watch today.

If anyone else sees a recruit has signed before I post it in here, feel free to go ahead and post it for us. I'm looking forward to everyone's response on this because, like I said, this is going to be a day like some of us have never seen before at the Capstone.

Good start so far. Signings will come in patches today, with a flurry here and there. So check back as often as possible. And if you see someone has signed and I have not posted it yet, go ahead and post it for us

I think Bama is guaranteed a top 3 recruiting class now. Possibly #1. Recruiting classes don't win championships, I know that. But it hasn't hurt teams like Florida, Ohio State, and USC over the past few years.

It was a damn good day, and hopefully we aren't done yet.

And this is how I look at it: Just because they are 4 and 5 star recruits doesn't automatically mean that they will be studs next year, if at all. But a recruiting class like this helps to bring in more good recruits, and helps to build a good class for next year's incoming class. It is a good step towards building a good foundation. That is why I am excited about this class.
