FanIQ Points = Fan Points + IQ Points:

Fan Points (Prove your fandom)  -  Fan Points measure your passion for sports and your contributions to the FanIQ community.  Earn points for activities that other FanIQ members judge as valuable.  For example, you earn points for every thumbs up you receive or every time someone views a video that you upload.  The bigger the contribution, the bigger the reward.  Earn huge points for submitting a blog, news link, video or poll that gets featured on the homepage by our editors.  Recruit a new member to join FanIQ and earn 1,000 points!

IQ Points (Prove your knowledge) – IQ points measure your knowledge of sports.  Earn points for entering prediction polls and pick’ems, playing trivia and quizzes.    We've dramatically increased the points for pick'ems and predictions so keep picking.

We’ve spent months crunching data from existing members and calculating how much each contribution should be worth.  We’ve tweaked the formula dozens of times.  We've translated ALL of your historical points into the revised point system.  Click here to see how you earn points.   This new point system is going to let us do all kinds of cool things.  We plan on tweaking the points awarded system regularly, like a stock market,
