About Me:
I get goosebumps for exciting victories and tears for championship defeat (even if it's not my team). I thrive on football and hockey, but I'll watch almost any sport - and give me enough time, I'll be obsessed. I cheer for the underdog if I don't have a set team preference for a specific game - and I'm thrilled when the Cinderella team wins it all (as long as it's not against my team!) Pro-retirement ceremonies are one of the very few things that can make me cry but I always watch them anyway. I LOVE road trips and anything outdoorsy - but my idea of *A* perfect day is spent curled up in an overstuffed chair with sunflower seeds and a drink, the Q on the laptop, the NFL on from morning through afternoon and the NHL in the evening on a big screen TV. Color me happy...but call me lazy.

What's New on the Q?
Bloggers have been busy, despite this fairly slow week in sports; and our very own has been hugely recognized in the wide world of sports on the net. Jon, one of FanIQ's Featured Bloggers wrote a little piece called Super Bowl Analysis: Which Team is More Likely to Have Someone Get Into Trouble, Giants or Patriots?

It's an Arizona insider's take on what types of distractions the Pats and Giants faced this past week, and what types of trouble they can get into. And it made big waves, (and brought in big traffic to the site), getting linked by Sports Illustrated’s Hot Links, ESPN’s Hashmarks NFL Blog, and Deadspin. You can see more (and hype the blog yourself) at BallHype.com. If you haven't read the blog yet, I highly recommend that you do. If you're interested in contributing to the FanIQ Blog, please email CriticalFanatic or 100%InjuryRate. We're especially in need of quality college hoops, MLB, NASCAR, soccer, and MMA content.

You Q’ers seem to be having a lot of fun with the Fan Diaries, writing about stuff from your favorite sports, teams, players, and even personal matters like jobs, friends, and families. A lot of fun, interesting, and inspirational reads out there – take a peek! The site editors have been actively seeking the best of the best, so that we can post some of your pieces on the front page! Latest features include Identical QBs: One A Joke, One A Hero, The Gift of Life….or the game…, and LeBron Throws His Teammates Under The Bus?
