About Me:
I get goosebumps for exciting victories and tears for championship defeat (even if it's not my team). I thrive on football and hockey, but I'll watch almost any sport - and give me enough time, I'll be obsessed. I cheer for the underdog if I don't have a set team preference for a specific game - and I'm thrilled when the Cinderella team wins it all (as long as it's not against my team!) Pro-retirement ceremonies are one of the very few things that can make me cry but I always watch them anyway. I LOVE road trips and anything outdoorsy - but my idea of *A* perfect day is spent curled up in an overstuffed chair with sunflower seeds and a drink, the Q on the laptop, the NFL on from morning through afternoon and the NHL in the evening on a big screen TV. Color me happy...but call me lazy.

Good evening everyone! Busy week here on the Q! I hope everybody is enjoying March Madness...I'm not a basketball fan and even I was drawn in last night...so it must be good. Either that, or FanIQ has made the sport more exciting for me. Everyone getting used to, and enjoying the new points system? If you're still confused, make sure to read Ty's blog and click the links in there for further information...

Did You Know?
This is a relatively new development - you can now view an extended version of what used to be next to our names in the forums when you mouse over a Fan's picture anywhere in the blog, homepage, quizzes, trivia...pretty much anywhere you see a fan's pic! It will show you a larger image, as well as their real name, age, location, their favorite teams, their fan compatibility with you, and their latest thought of the day. You can still see everyone's screen name in the forum threads directly under their photo, but if you want more information on them, just roll over their image!


               

Mannish (manny79) has been with us since the 13th of this month and is into Houston sports. He has been very active in the forums, and has made 2 great polls, and has even made use of our Fan Diaries already by writing a personal sports blog! Welcome to the family, Manny - Keep up the good work!


Chris (OneUp) joined us on March 15th, and is taking the Q by storm. He has added quality to our libraries of photos, videos, and trivia. You've also probably seen him in the forums a bunch. If you get a chance, you should go take one or all of his created polls!

Justin (curlyhairfreak) came to the Q on the 2nd of March and has added some trivia and great photos to our ever-growing collection. He's a Louiseville Cards fan, as well as a fan of the Red Sox, Pats, and Liverpool, and March Madness is his favorite event in sports.  Welcome, Justin!



Matt (Boski93) joined at the end of January, and I'm sure you've seen some of his great comments around the site forums - he's always one of the first to comment in a blog thread! Matt has also made a couple of fun polls, as well as added to our photo and video libraries, and he wins a ton of awards. A little late, but a big fat Welcome, Matt!
