Who's next on Rafa Benitez's shopping list? Could be YOU!!

ALONE & DESPERATE...I think these two words describe how Rafa Benitez feels at the moment. After being hung out to dry by the club's owners, Rafa has been scouring the football world for extra help. He has been looking for divine intervention but I'm not sure THE BIG GUY is listening. Well let me fill you in.....as the desperation mounts, Benitez has been linked to trying to sign the Argentinian version of Frodo, Pablo Aimar.....Ok not so Frodo anymore since he cut his hair. Also he has been trying to close a £17 million deal for Javier Mascherano. But what good would these do if your own players are calling it quits? Coming to mind are a few star quitters like Peter Crouch, Owen Hargreaves and not to mention STEVEN GERRARD. Ok, I have heard of the saying "Know when to call it quits" but to concede defeat, at a time like this, in public, is nothing less than shameful. I would have accepted positive BS..you know..at least to save some face or something. Then again, I may have been laughing it up at these attempts to save face during an apparent crisis at Liverpool. At least the Liverpool fans are loyal to Benitez...go figure.

Cheer up Liverpool supporters...hey if it makes you feel any better, watch that video of Man. City keeper, Joe Hart chasing after a balloon, which he had mistaken for the football..Poor guy conceded a goal because of it.

a few things...

joe hart would have blocked that balloon any day!!  unfortunately shef u was scoring with the ball...

THE BIG GUY doesnt listen to liverpool, hes a chelsea fan.

and rafa can blame himself for a lot of this.  remember early in the season when he was complaining about not having "stars?"  or when he pulled SG when he was the only person doing well in the match?  or when he subbed in crouch numerous times instead of giving him a starting 11 spot?  or when he complained that there was no consistency even though he was responsible for the rotating starting 11?  why reds fans are supporting this mook is beyond me.  i think it may be because rafa is better than any yank so they would rather support him instead of the owners.  i could promise you tho that if hicks and gillette pulled in a top notch manager and the club turned around, there would be no one bitching about the america ownership.
