OK folks.
After months and months of speculation, back and forths with the media, investigations (whether bogus or not), I'm figuring that it's time somebody said it. The Patriots cheated their way to success.
Now, lets be real. They are not the first, and they likely wont be the last. And as cheating goes, it seems to me to be a vital and lively part of the game of life. As long as you don't get caught cheating, then you'll be fine as far as reputation power goes.
To the dismay of the Boston fans, it's city, and all of those who rode the bandwagon(including myself), we must embrace and accept the brutal truth that the excellence displayed by the New England Patriots for so many years was mixed and brewed with scandal.
Referring to a previous statement I've already claimed here, cheating happens. Unless you're naive, highly ignorant, or just living in a closet, you are either a victim of it or you have been a distributor. My guess is you are both, but that's not my point.
Point being, The Patriots organization has acted foul, and it's saga is slowly but surely unraveling before our eyes. I'm even going to the point of saying that the evils of professional sports is and has been unraveling for many months and years now. (IE. exposing of steroid use in the MLB, NBA player(s) admitting to drug use/abuse, NFL players not receiving adequate compensation after retiring, NFL-NBA-MLB players' recent and brooding conduct issues, etc.).
Keep your eyes open people. We are amidst a season of the lid blowing off of many of the masks of media & entertainment(professional sports included). We've made gods out of humans, and mother nature is not impressed. ;)
