The Toronto Maple Leafs have won just once in their last 11 games -- the 1-9-1 slide has dropped them five points out of the final postseason berth with a 29-28-7 record. Chants of "Fire Wilson!" echoed through Air Canada Centre when the Maple Leafs lost 5-3 to the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night. They lost 5-4 at Chicago the following night after blowing a 3-1 lead. They have not been to the playoffs since 2004 and been hanging on to the 8th seed in the East most of the season, fire Ron Wilson. They replace him with Randy Carlyle who was let go by Anaheim earlier in the season. Now it makes sense to some because Leafs' GM Brian Burke and Carlyle had worked together when the Ducks won the cup in '07. Lets see if Burke made a good call and Carlyle can lead the Leafs not only to the playoffs, but past the first round.
