It wouldn't feel right if the first day of Wimbledon didn't experience several rain delays. That's par for the course at the All England Club.
There were actually a few matches completed, most notably Roger Federer doing what he does on grass - mowing over opponents. Also, there was Andy Roddick not losing in the first round which is good; unfortunately it had to be another American, Justin Gimelstob, losing in the process.
Whether you like it or not, I do plan to provide daily updates on The Championships at Wimbledon (for the 4 of us that enjoy Tennis) with heavy emphasis on the performance of our favorites tennis
That's all for now, matches are about to get underway again. Did I mention how much I love the all-white attire?
