Wimbledon Day 1 Results: Rain v. Playing 6-0, 6-0, 6-0

It wouldn't feel right if the first day of Wimbledon didn't experience several rain delays. That's par for the course at the All England Club.

There were actually a few matches completed, most notably Roger Federer doing what he does on grass - mowing over opponents. Also, there was Andy Roddick not losing in the first round which is good; unfortunately it had to be another American, Justin Gimelstob, losing in the process.

Whether you like it or not, I do plan to provide daily updates on The Championships at Wimbledon (for the 4 of us that enjoy Tennis) with heavy emphasis on the performance of our favorites tennis ~~babes~~ ladies (have to be proper this week) that will grace our television sets in all white for the next two weeks. Speaking of which, score one for the hot lady division. Martin Hingis won this morning in a more difficult match than she'd have desired. But sadly, Ashley Harkleroad is out early.

That's all for now, matches are about to get underway again. Did I mention how much I love the all-white attire?

0	I enjoy the Grand Slam tournaments (Wimbledon especially), so I'll be looking forward to the updates. Martina Hingis has never really done it for me though.

0	Quite a match on ESPN2 right now. Tin Henman, with the entire English crowd behind him, coming back from a 2 set to 1 deficit. You'd think it was the final.

It sucks that I'm missing that. Everyone there loves Henman. It's a shame he could never win the whole thing. Murray has the best chance among the British players nowadays.
