Some of the events going on today:Alpine Downhill
Cross Country
Figure Skating
Hockey
Luge
Speed Skating
Snowboarding
If you're watching (on NBC pretty much all day), then chat it up here. Yesterday's Nordic Combine had an epic finish, and USA finished 2nd, 4th and 6th, so they'll probably be the favorites in the relay event later on in the games.
There will be tons of action today, so check it out, and talk about it here. Enjoy the games!

Hometown boy, Cody Hay and Annabelle did great. They fought for that performance, and even though they had a few errors, everyone here is proud of him and his accomplishments, trust me.

Is it just me, or is anyone else annoyed with the phrases "won silver" or "won bronze"? I mean, you really didn't win anything.. you came in 2nd or 3rd...
I'd say "took silver" or "placed bronze"...

i think usa will fail in end of medal count, its just 2 days so far in events where they're expected to get atleast a medal in all of them, but in the mens mogul the last guy to go was the french man, he got 6th place, he did better than the 2nd place guy did, so the french dude should of got 3rd or 2nd i dont know what the judges were on, the guy had fastest time that day, and also no messes up on the turns, but not greatest jumps, but still its good enough for 2nd or 3rd, and also the figure skating! WTF are the judges on crack? people are falling left and right but still getting good scores? i dont know whats wrong with the judges these olympics but they seem to be too generous

Hey, curling happens to be one of my favorites to watch - I can't explain why, but an hour and a half can easily be sucked away from me without even realizing it.

And, is it just me, or are you sick to death of Costas fat face in front of the fire talking to the athletes? The athletes are all going to make the rounds of the talk shows later. Can't we watch more events? I can remember growing up and watching everything! Even the really boring compulsories when figure skaters had to trace figure eights on one edge, and then the other. Glad they phased that out, but you get my point. Hell, I'd rather watch Curling than Costas, for crying out loud!

And my guess is, it will be two ski runs, three minutes of commercials, two ski runs, three minutes of commercials, up close and personal profile, ski run, three minutes of commercials, edit for drama, and package into one hour of air time to leave time for live figure skating.....

Or a replay of last nights moguls on NBC...

For those that want to follow the downhill live, here's the link.

I don't remember watching much cross country, but it just seems so odd to me to watch everyone finish and just collapse - I guess it's the norm though.

Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. When a sports event isn't shown live, my interest level drops by at least 75%. Maybe that's just me, but yeah, huge fail on NBC's part.

I don't know who that Estonian chick is, but she just laid the hammer down. But now a Swedish chick is ahead at the timecheck.

Likely NBC fail coming. The men's downhill is scheduled to start right now, but they're holding off til primetime. No disrespect to the live cross country they're showing now, but I'd rather see the downhill live now than taped tonight crammed in between figure skating and feature stories.
