curling goes back to the 1600's , the scots invented it , mens' world championships have been held since 1959, canada has won 31 of the 50 men's championships held

2/16/10   |   kramer   |   11004 respect

Gold #2 for the Canadians, congrats!

Crosby to Nash as the goalie sat Stills, but Iginla screwed up the namesake by scoring on the rebound.

2/16/10   |   kramer   |   11004 respect

Was that a shorty for Richards or had the penalty technically just expired?

2-0 on Pronger's shot that was redirected by Heatley, now the Canadians are starting to get the pucks in, pretty sure that won't be the last goal scored by team Canada.

/captain obvious

1-0 Canada thanks to Iginla.

Nice 3 points.  I think we could have played better...  But plenty of time to work on that.  Good going guys.  Let's get ready for Norway Thursday.

It's pretty fun to watch, I think. Easy to follow, easy to score.

Americans didn't look like they had it together this first match. The strategy is lacking and the accuracy was off. The Germans looked like a cohesive unit.

2/16/10   |   Chief_aka_James   |   3307 respect

These US curlers live together, two even share a bunk bed? Way to go my Minnesota friends...

2/16/10   |   Chief_aka_James   |   3307 respect

Nice 4th end to tie it up. Could've been better, but good.

2/16/10   |   Chief_aka_James   |   3307 respect

Something about yelling Germans even in this sport scare me.

2/16/10   |   Pat   |   5232 respect

This 4th end is looking really good for the USA.
