4-Star Defensive Lineman Commits to Wisconsin

Indianapolis (IN) defensive lineman Darius Latham of North Central High School gave his oral commitment to play for Brett Bielema and the Wisconsin Badgers Tuesday evening, announcing via Twitter.

Scout ranks Latham as the No. 22 defensive tackle for the class of 2013, while Rivals lists him No. 14.

The 4-star prospect plays both ways for his high school team, contributing as a standout offensive guard. He also starts on the varsity basketball team, flaunting his versatility.

At 6'5", 285 pounds, Latham will be a force to be reckoned with at the next level and will be in Big Ten backfields for years to come.

Latham was also offered by Auburn, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Purdue and Tennessee.
