Obviously, there most likely won't be any other NFL head coaches leaving for a college team, but there will definitely be some who will be getting the boot from management. Which coaches are most likely to be on their way out? Let's take a look at some of the coaches who's teams are at the bottom.
Cam Cameron, Dolphins: Could it be one and done for Cameron? He was a good coordinator, but he's totally lost this team, and they could be the first to NOT win once in a 16 game schedule. His supporters could argue that Jimmy Johnson was 1-15 his first year in Dallas, but can you really keep a guy who could go 0-16?
Eric Mangini, Jets: I highly doubt he's in much danger considering it's year two, and they were good last year. But there is no doubt that he was incredibly over-rated coming into this year.
Mike Nolan, 49ers: I like Nolan, I think he's a good coach, but this team is in his 3rd year, what have the done? If they don't figure it out next year, he may be done. Remember, the 49ers fired Mariucci after going 10-6 and 12-4 in his last two years.
Scott Linehan, Rams: I don't see them giving up on him after two seasons, but perhaps they'll think they can do better.
Brian Billick, Ravens: I know he won you a Super Bowl, and it's hard to get rid of that guy, but he has most of the same team that went 13-3 last year, and this will be his worst year as a coach. I think he's done.
Herm "Play to Win the Game!" Edwards, Chiefs: A lot of people don't think he's that great. He did get them a playoff spot last year, but what a fall off. Although he's rebounded from bad years in New York, will he from this year?
Lane Kiffin, Raiders: A firing would be unlikely, but maybe he jumps for greener pastures in the college game?
Marvin Lewis, Bengals: He's the first coach in forever to make the Bengals even decent, but it definitely looks like he's lost the Bengals. Will ownership believe in him to get it back or is Lewis's tenure coming to a close?
Andy Reid, Eagles: Many people thought he should step down to deal with his family issues. After a second disappointing season in three years, maybe they cut the ties to a guy who's done a lot of good for them?
John Fox, Panthers: It's been a while since the Panthers were actually good. He may have gotten them to a Super Bowl, but will his teams' recent struggles prompt them to make a change?
Mike Shanahan, Broncos: I know he brought them great things a time ago, but they've underachieved the last couple years, taking early playoff exits in good years, and missing the playoffs the last two years. Maybe the longest tenured active coach is done?
Joe Gibbs, Redskins: They haven't done really anything since he's came back. One decent year in four years. I know they still can be 9-7, but maybe Gibbs should retire again?
These are the likeliest coaches to be out of a job. Who do you think will be getting the boot at years' end, and do you think a coach not listed here is going to be fired?
