Pedro Martinez has had quite a bit of history with the New York Yankees, and he's hoping to make a little more history tonight, when he pitches for the Phillies against those same Yankees in Game 2 of the World Series.Last night, Cliff Lee was virtually unhittable, and nearly shut out the Yanks in one of the most dominant performances we've seen in a long time. Pedro will hope to duplicate that, but his days as one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball are behind him, so it might not be the case.
The opposing pitcher will be AJ Burnett, who has shown flashes of brilliance for the Yankees, but has been a little inconsistent.
61% of FanIQ users predicted the Yankees will win tonight. But then again, 66% picked them last night, and they lost. If you're watching the game (7:57 pm ET on FOX), then chat it up here. As always, enjoy the game!
