This "rap" video comes from 1988 from a high school known as CVHS. What high school that is I can only guess, but I'm pretty sure it's Capistrano Valley High School down in Mission Viejo, CA. Why am I relatively confident about that? Because only Cali kids were cool enough to rock the mullet fade in 1988.

Anyway, I assume that the basketball team never in a million years thought this thing would wind up on YouTube, but yet here we are. I think some nerd posted it as revenge for all the swirlies he got from the kid with the butch cut.

It's truly an excruciating video, as half the team appears to be misplaced foreigners and the other half is made up of musically tone-deaf white kids in hiked pants and Cosby sweaters. Naturally they got the one black kid to be the human beat box for the rap.

Good luck surviving this thing, but hey, dig those 80s haircuts! Man, that decade SUCKED.

Well that settles what I am up to this afternoon at work. I am just going to excuse myself and drive over to Capo Valley High and burn it to the ground. I am about a 3 minute drive from the campus.

My god all those ties probably died shortly thereafter due to starvation. Wow the late 80's ended horribly for fashion. I am just all surprised we did not all go blind from some of those Cosby sweaters.

Hey big ups to the dude for celebrating his 2.1 GPA.
