Mandatory Credit: Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY SportsDuring the Los Angeles Lakers game against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night, Xavier Henry suffered a bloody injury.

He explained how it happened, saying:

"I got kicked the ball, I drove past (Kawhi) Leonard, went up for a layup, got fouled and on the way down, I could see Wes (Johnson) was coming to the goal and he was about to jump and I just hit my head on his knee and it was a popping feeling and a lot of blood."

Luckily, Henry was able to tape up the wound long enough to shoot free throws. Then, he headed to the locker room, got nine stitches and returned to the game.

He finished up with three points in 22 minutes, all of which came from free throws, and missed all six of his shot attempts.

After watching this though, there's no way he wasn't seeing stars.
