So this is definitely the first time I've ever heard of it, but apparently there was an introduction of the "All Fundamentals Team" the other day by USA Football and the NFLPA.

To prove this team is not a farce at all, they have a committee and everything - including, Ex-Safety Jason Belser, who's currently the Senior Regional Director of the NFLPA. Ex-Free Safety Tom Carter, currently the Regional Director of the NFLPA. Ex-Corner and former Head Coach, Herm Edwards; James "Scottie" Graham who currently serves as an NFLPA Regional Director, educating players on NFLPA benefits, policies and procedures; Lawrence "Larry" Kennan who is currently the Staff Director of the NFL Coaches Association - a position he has held since 1998; and former GM and President of the Kansas City Chiefs, Carl Peterson, who was named USA Football's Chairman on June 16, 2009.

These gentlemen had the luxury of deciding who currently in the league has the best fundamentals for their position from Quarterbacks to Kickers.

The winners were:

Larry Fitz and Wes Welker : Catching with hands as opposed to catching with......feet or teeth. This list is rediculious.

Weddle and Grant are at the top of their positions?

Most of it's solid but what back has better fundamentals than Pierre Thomas?  Not a blazer but 5.5per carry, 666 yards and 1 fumble and 199 yard in receptions.

The only guy I think that might be a better fundamental, hit the hole type runner is Frank Gore.
