Zach Johnson is one of six unfortunate golfers whose clubs and luggage didn't successfully make the trip across the Atlantic Ocean.Johnson was one of at least six American-based players in the field this week at the British Open whose luggage was lost in transit crossing the Atlantic Ocean. That would include their clubs, too.
Unless the offending airlines can fast reconcile the problem, this could get ugly, a term that essentially describes the blue jeans worn Monday by rising American standout Lucas Glover. Like Johnson, Glover wasn't sure of the whereabouts of his gear and was not wearing his standard PGA Tour-quality attire. Worse, he could not play a practice round, either, and the week is fast disappearing.
And we wonder why Airlines are consistently going out of business?
