Grienke's a tremendous arm and should the team pick up around him and give him the run support he needs, he certainly has the makings of a 20 win season this year. I truly wish the Royals were a better overall ball club around Zack and Gil, those guys are fantastic pitchers who really deserve to collect the wins they string for themselves. Something about their bats just doesn't seem the click for some odd reason - and they really have some tremendous bats when they get rolling.

grienke has already thrown a complete game shutout against a great offensive team (texas rangers) and a complete game last night night vs detroit only giving up 1 run on a throwing error by mike avilles but prior to that he had 38 straight scoreless inings. a great pitcher and an even greater start to what could be a good season for the unpredictable royals which they have gotten off to a good start but if they continue playing well they culd win the division : ) GO ROYALS!!!!!!
