Remember when I said Zack Greinke was going to be traded any day now?Yeah, that was earlier today. And that day has already come.
Greinke has been traded to the Angels for shortstop Jean Segura and two pitching prospects.
The Angels were one of the teams rumored to be interested in Greinke, and are looking to make a run at the Rangers in the AL West, or at least maintain their grip on the Wild Card.
The Angels are 5 games behind the Rangers in the AL West at the moment, but they're the leading wild card team right now. The Tigers are a game behind, in the 2nd wild card position, and the Orioles are 2 games back.
Greinke will join guys like Jered Weaver, Dan Haren and C.J. Wilson to form a rather formidable starting rotation in Anaheim.
Where do you think this puts the Angels among the favorites in the AL? Are they good enough to beat the Yankees and Rangers now? Or do they need to make another move?

Artie Moreno wasn't kidding when he said he was going all out this year to win a World Series.

Oh that could be ok then...they don't need any help being terrorized. They do a great job of that on their own!

Him resigning in LA is far from a done deal, so he won't necessarily be in the AL West for too long (and terrorizing your Mariners).
